*ANNUAL SPORTS DAY ‘AAYAM ‘ 2025-26
– Where Champions Rise Beyond Limits!*
Gaurs International School, Yamuna City celebrated its Annual Sports Day 2025–26, “AAYAM – Beyond Limits,” with immense enthusiasm, discipline, and vibrant sporting spirit. Inspired by the vision of Fit India, the event fostered physical fitness, teamwork, resilience, and sportsmanship among students.
The programme commenced with the Lighting of the Lamp and Ganesh Vandana, followed by a disciplined March Past by the four houses. The Oath Taking Ceremony and Torch Lighting symbolized commitment to fair play. The meet was formally declared open by the Principal, Mrs. Mala Pathak, who welcomes the guests and reiterated the school’s dedication to holistic development.
The event was graced by our esteemed Chief Guest, Mr. Parvez Ali, District Sports Officer, Greater Noida, and our special invitee, Mr. Kyoshi Kamal Thapa, Director of Traditional Shito-Ryo Karate Do Association, India, and General Secretary of Karate Welfare Association, Gautam Buddha Nagar. Mrs. Manju Gaur, Director, Gaurs International Group of Schools also graced the occasion with her esteemed presence. Their inspiring words motivated students to strive for excellence with dedication and determination.
From vibrant drills — Pom-Pom, Ribbon, Flag, PT Dumbbell, Hula Hoop, Karate, Zumba & Aerobics, and Yoga — to thrilling races including Bunny Race, Relay Race, and 50m, 100m, and 200m sprints, the arena echoed with cheers and excitement. The Medal Ceremony and the much-awaited House Trophy Announcement added to the celebratory spirit.
The event concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks by the Head Mistress Mrs. Monica Jain, followed by the National Anthem — leaving everyone inspired by unity, pride, and the true spirit of sportsmanship.
