Investiture Ceremony 2025–26 at GIS Yamuna City Marks the Dawn of New Leadership
Yamuna City, August 14, 2025: Gaurs International School, Yamuna City, held its prestigious Investiture Ceremony 2025–26 with grandeur and solemnity, marking a proud moment in the school’s journey of nurturing student leadership. The occasion was graced by the esteemed Chief Guest, Col. M.K. Sharma, who praised the institution for shaping disciplined, responsible, and visionary young leaders.
The event began with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp and Shloka Uchharan, invoking wisdom and enlightenment. The cultural segment set an inspiring tone with a soulful song of motivation, two enthralling dance performances, and a thought-provoking skit on leadership and responsibility — each presentation beautifully echoing the values of courage, empathy, and unity.
Adding to the solemnity of the occasion, Director Mrs. Manju Gaur and Principal Mrs. Mala Pathak joined the Chief Guest in welcoming the newly elected student council representatives from the senior, middle, and junior wings.
The ceremony began with the badge pinning of the Class Prefects, who pledged to uphold discipline and serve as role models for their peers. This was followed by the appointment of House Captains, Vice-Captains, and the Sports and Cultural Secretaries, who proudly received their badges and sashes.
The proudest moment came with the installation of the school’s Head Boy, Jalaj Dahiya, and Head Girl, Prakshi, who vowed to lead with integrity, empathy, and commitment.
The council members then took a solemn Oath of Office, administered by the Principal, pledging to uphold honesty, discipline, and service in every endeavour.
Following the oath, Principal Mrs. Mala Pathak addressed the assembly with words of encouragement. She congratulated the newly invested council and reminded them that true leadership is rooted in humility, discipline, and service.
The Chief Guest, Col. M.K. Sharma, then took the podium. Applauding the confidence and commitment of the students, he inspired them to embrace perseverance, courage, and compassion as guiding principles. He reminded the young leaders that leadership is not merely a title but a privilege that comes with responsibility.
