First Aid Awareness Seminar

On 3rd July 2025 an informative and interactive First Aid Awareness Seminar was conducted for the students from Class IV to XI in collaboration with Yatharth Hospital. Dr. Farha Imam, Senior Consultant and Head, Department of Emergency Medicine (MBBS, DEM, MEMA) from the hospital, guided students on how to respond effectively in medical emergencies.

Students learned vital life-saving skills including:

• Basic First Aid principles
• Emergency helpline numbers (112, 108, 1098)
• CPR steps — Check, Call, Compress
• Essentials of a First Aid Kit
• Handling burns, fractures & animal bites

Dr. Imam made the session highly interactive, engaging the students through live demonstrations and Q&A rounds. Students participated eagerly, volunteering for CPR practice and identifying first aid items. Real-life scenarios were discussed, encouraging active problem-solving.
